Flipkart Billion Capture+ goes on sale in India: Price start from Rs. 10,999: specifications, features, launch offers and more

Flipkart -owned smartphone brand Billion launched first smartphone in India in last week, the Billion Capture+ is going up for sale today for the first time. The Billion Capture+ has been launched in two variants – 32GB storage with 3GB RAM priced at Rs 10,999, and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM priced at Rs 12,999. The Billion Capture+ highlight features are dual rear camera, USB Type-C port and comes with Smartron's tronX AI-based Internet of Things platform as well as unlimited free cloud storage.  As for launch offers, Flipkart is providing customers 10 percent instant discount on purchase via HDFC debit or credit card. Purchase via Axis Bank Buzz credit card will make a customer eligible for 5 percent off. Micromax Canvas Infinity with 5.7-inch 18:9 Display, 16MP front camera launched in India, Price at Rs. 9,999: Specs and features


The Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, LG G6 come with edge-to-edge display. The edge-to-edge display trends more popular in 2017. Recently LG Q6 with 5.5-inch FullVision HD+ display and Face Unlock features launched in India at Rs. 14,990. Today Micromax launched its Canvas Infinity smartphone, which boasts a higher screen ratio of 18:9. The Micromax Canvas Infinity is priced at Rs 9,999, and will be available exclusively via Amazon India, with offline availability scheduled for later. The registrations for purchase on Amazon India opens today, while the sale will begin starting 12PM on September 1, 2017. The Micromax Canvas Infinity highlight features are 5.7-inch 18:9 display and its 16-megapixel selfie camera setup.

Micromax Canvas Infinity specification and features 

The Micromax Canvas Infinity features a 5.7-inch display with HD+ (720×1440 pixels) resolution and 2.5D cover glass on top, which Micromax calls the Infinity display. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and internal storage is at 32GB with the option to expand further using a microSD card slot up to 128GB. There are dedicated separate dual SIMs slots and MicoSD card slot. 

The Micromax Canvas Infinity sports a 13-megapixel sensor with single-tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture as well. The smartphone sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera with soft selfie flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and face beauty modes. The camera mode gives you a Real Time Bokeh effect and Re-Focus option - an effect which will allow you to select the focus area after shooting, allowing you to click pictures that seem to be taken on the macro mode of an SLR camera. The smartphone also comes with Auto scene detection mode support.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, and OTG support. The smartphone is a 2,900mAh battery that is rated to offer talk time of 20 hours, standby time of 420 hours, Music playback up to 22 hours and Video playback up to 6 hours. It is further equipped with a fingerprint sensor at the back. It runs Android Nougat 7.1.2 out-of-the-box. Micromax also confirmed that the Canvas Infinity will get the Android 8.0 Oreo update soon. The Micromax also announced a 24-hour service promise to repair or replace the device in that stipulated time frame. Micromax claims that this service will be available at Micromax Express Service centers exclusively, and the list of these centers will be updated on the website.
