Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor was the Honor 8 pro launched in India last week. The Honor 8 Pro goes sale via Amazon Prime Day at 6pm (IST) in India. This first Honor 8 Pro sale is exclusively for Amazon Prime members. As for launch offers, during the Prime Day sale, Prime subscribers will get 15 percent cashback if they use HDFC Bank credit and debit cards. Open sales for the Honor 8 Pro begin from 12am on July 13. The Honor 8 Pro priced at Rs. 29,999 and will be available in Navy Blue and Midnight Black colors options. The Honor 8 Pro highlight features are a dual camera setup, 4000mAh battery, 6GB of RAM and 128GB Storage.

Design: The Honor 8 Pro is a flaunting metal body and a come with massive battery than after smartphone sleek, ultra-thin 6.97mm body. On the rear side of the device is a dominated by the dual camera module on the top-left, dual LED flash placed on it's right side and fingerprint sensor. On the front side of the device is a dominated by the 5.7-inch display, front-facing camera. There’s a headphone jack and USB-C port on the bottom, along with a Primary mic and Speaker grail and IR blaster and Secondary mic located on top. On right edge side Power button and volume rocker, along with SIM card try on left side.
Honor 8 Pro specifications and features
The Honor 8 Pro features a 5.7-inch QHD LTPS LCD display with pixel density of 515ppi and Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the Huawei’s own Kirin 960 octa-core processor (4x2.4 GHz (Cortex A73) + 4x1.8GHz (Cortex A53)) paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further by using the microSD card slot up to 256GB. Talking about the dual camera setup on the Honor 8 Pro, It sports two 12-megapixel sensors with f/2.2 aperture further includes laser auto-focus, dual LED flash, and is capable of 4K video recording. While one sensor captures in RGB, the other captures in monochrome. On the front, you get 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity option include 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, NFC and fingerprint sensor at the back. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with smart power 5.0, fast charging support that's said to give you 2 full days of regular use, and nearly 1.5 days of heavy use. It run on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 layered above.
The smartphone come with a cardboard VR out-of-box, the Jaunt VR app and the Galaxy on Fire 3 app pre-installed. Further, the company says that it has partnered with Gameloft and GoPro for in-built apps (including the GoPro Quik app) and is currently in talks with major e-tailers for exclusive online release.
