Flipkart Billion Capture+ goes on sale in India: Price start from Rs. 10,999: specifications, features, launch offers and more

Flipkart -owned smartphone brand Billion launched first smartphone in India in last week, the Billion Capture+ is going up for sale today for the first time. The Billion Capture+ has been launched in two variants – 32GB storage with 3GB RAM priced at Rs 10,999, and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM priced at Rs 12,999. The Billion Capture+ highlight features are dual rear camera, USB Type-C port and comes with Smartron's tronX AI-based Internet of Things platform as well as unlimited free cloud storage.  As for launch offers, Flipkart is providing customers 10 percent instant discount on purchase via HDFC debit or credit card. Purchase via Axis Bank Buzz credit card will make a customer eligible for 5 percent off. Nokia 8 with dual-camera setup, Snapdragon 835 SoC launched in India: Price, Specs and features


The Nokia 8 launched in International market in last month. Today Nokia 8 launched in India. The Nokia 8 is HMD Global‘s latest flagship device in India after having launched the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 smartphones. The Nokia 8 priced at Rs. 36,999 and will be available in Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, and Steel colour variants. The Polished Copper variant will go on sale a few weeks later. The company said all Nokia 8 models sold in India will be made in India. The smartphone will be available via Amazon India and offline channels from October 14. The Nokia 8 direct competition with OnePlus 5, the OnePlus 5 starting priced at Rs. 32,999. The Nokia 8 highlight features are dual rear camera, OZO Audio technology and Snapdragon 835 SoC.

Nokia 8 launch offers include 100GB of additional Jio data - 10GB extra data a month for up to 10 recharges (Rs. 309 and above) until August 2018. Nokia 8 consumers will also have access to special Nokia Mobile Care Concierge Service in 50 cities across the country.

Nokia 8 specifications, features

In terms of design, the Nokia 8 shares a lot of similarities with the Nokia 5. It features an unibody design built using a single block of 6000 series aluminum and Polished mirror finish. The Nokia 8 sports a 5.3-inch QHD IPS display with 700nits of brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.

Now talking about USP of the smartphone is its dual-camera setup, which is the result of partnership between HMD Global and Carl ZEISS. The Nokia 8 sports a dual rear camera setup, with one 13-megapixel RGB lens with f/2.0 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), while the other 13-megapixel Monochrome lens with f/2.0 aperture. Both the lenses support PDAF, IR range finder and dual tone flash. The front camera has an 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and display flash. All three cameras come with Carl Zeiss optics. The cameras support a feature called ‘Bothie’ that allow you to stream from both cameras simultaneously, without the need of a specialized app. First smartphone to broadcast to Facebook live or YouTube live with both cameras simultaneously in a single touch. 

Nokia’s OZO Audio technology to capture audio with 360-degree (using 3 microphones) spatial surround sound. The smartphone ticking is a 3,090mAh non-removable battery, fingerprint sensor and IP54 rating for splash resistance. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on board include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, E-compass, Gyroscope, Hall sensor and Barometer. The Nokia 8 runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
